Officially released – only for the internet though – the latest trailer for X-Men Origins – Wolverine is not actually a new trailer. More a re-cut of already released trailers and footage, unfortunately.

Why the release? And why only online? Good question. Maybe the leaked workprint of X-Men Origins – Wolverine had something to do with that. Or maybe not. The studio vehemently assuring everyone that that was not the final cut sounds like a desperate plea to get moviegoers… well… to go to the movies.

Whatever the reason at least they could have released a proper new trailer with some new material in it because what you will find below the cut is just a cheap excuse to rehash some old promo material. It’s like them releasing the above posted poster as a new one just cos someone digitally tweezed Hugh Jackman’s eyebrows. Not really new!
