It is OK to be gay – just not too gay. TV critic talks about ABC firing actress.

callica1I thought the situation had all blown over already. Unless you are in the affected minority or friends with “those people” you probably don’t even know what all the fuss is about or think “those gays” are just overly dramatic – again. Just look at them protesting and clogging the streets, inhibiting us straight people from going about our day. Well, rights matter, especially civil rights. Minorities need protection and sometimes a big brother, or sister, to step in for them or back them up.

The firing of a straight actress might seem like nothing, but it is clearly sending the wrong message. And don’t even start me on that newly christened MTV show about those incestuous, blond, brain-dead, bisexual twins. I need more words starting with a “b”.

Just have a listen to TV critic Andrew Wallenstein. He can word it much better than I ever could.

He sums it up perfectly at the end:

“It is OK to be gay – just not too gay.”
