Alien Trespass Trailer

Watching film trailers can become tedious. After a while you feel like you are watching the same thing over and over again. Granted, there are general rules and guidelines for how to make a trailer, but everyone following the same routine makes it a tad boring.

So when you get to see a trailer that is different you feel like a kid in a candy shop. At least that’s how I felt when I watched the trailer for Alien Trespass, to be released April 3, 2009.

Set in 1957, Alien Trespass chronicles a fiery object from space that crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth. Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature – the Ghota, which is bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis – a local astronomer – and with the help of Tammy, a waitress from the local diner, sets out to save mankind.

I do feel like a kid again, watching trashy old Sci-Fi films on television. Giant saucers, monsters, cheap, scary music, over-acting, ridiculous alien costumes – the works. Did you like War of the Worlds, It Came From Outer Space and Invasion of the Body Snatchers? Then this looks like the film for you.
