SDCC: ‘Dollhouse’

DollhouseSome (maybe even most) of you have already heard/read about the by now infamous 13th episode of the first season of Dollhouse. Entitled “Epitaph One”, this episode was never meant to air on Fox (and therefore won’t) but instead to be a nice little extra on the forthcoming DVD release of Dollhouse‘s first season. Intended only for the die-hard Dollhouse fan (who will buy the DVD set) Comic-Con goers got their special treet through an early look at the unaired episode.

“Epitaph One” takes place in the future. The year 2019 to be exact. The world as we know it doesn’t exist anymore. The episode opens with a group of people who have managed to avoid being wiped or imprinted with new personalities, unlike most of society it seems. They go underground trying to stay clear of any contact with technology, where they run into the abandoned Dollhouse facility, including the still intact “wiping” room and a large database of personalities and memories. Throughout the episode we see parts of these memories through flashbacks (this is where our regular cast comes in), but these flashbacks show us events that haven’t happened on the show yet. Intrigued?

You can check out the full deets on the episode here. But even better, get your ass in gear and snatch one of those DVD Box Sets from your fav retailer when they hit stores July 28. And make sure not to miss the start of the second season
